A Recent Storm
We've had some bad storms this summer. This is the beginning of another one!
It was time to put the van in the car port.
The noise from the hail on the metal roof of the patio was deafening. Thankfully we had no damage, but RVing friends of ours did.
This is what we found in the basket of my bike.
The flowers, tomatoes and pepper plants did not do well.....many now have lacy leaves!

Rub-a-dub dub 3 men in a tub..Ken Epp, Tom Rhodes (the pastor here at Venture In) & Dud at Hawley Lake.
Fishing has been excellent. These filets are rainbow trout.
When Michael & Anthony were with us, we had a good time fishing with them.
They caught 10 nice big rainbows.
It wasn't long before they were in the pan for supper.

SNOW IN THE WHITE MTS. OF AZ IN MAY
This morning the TV forecasted snow, but we never gave it a thought even though we are at 6,363ft. here in Show Low, AZ. Around 4pm this afternoon it started to snow and we thought it would be for a brief period of time, but it is now 7:15 pm and it continues to snow! In the above photo I'm standing on our deck looking down the street.
This is our summer home in the snow on May 22en!
Oops! Looks like I forgot the spider plant and rosemary bush on our back patio. I remembered to take in the 3 potted tomatos in 5 gal. pails along with a red pepper plant and green pepper plant.
